The Albany Weavers
Founded some 40 years ago, meeting Tuesdays 10am-3pm / Vancouver Arts Centre. Weaving looms permanently set up for use by group members. We make everything from Kumihimo braids to rugs, blankets and even clothing using hand-spun, commercial and vintage yarns.

Albany Spinners Inc.
One day in Sept 1969, Albany Spinning Group was formed and is still going strong. We now meet at the Vancouver Arts Centre on Thursdays from 10.00am until 3.00pm, we bring our own lunch and morning and afternoon tea is provided. We learn all about spinning natural wool, dyeing, knitting and creating. Where else could you have a day filled with fun and relaxation with like minded people for $2? New members are welcomed.

Felters in the Great Southern WA (Figs) is a group with a passion for felting. Figs meet to practice felting, to learn new felting skills and to share results.
Meetings are held at 10am-4pm on the third Sunday of the month in the Great Southern – Bornholm, Denmark, Walpole, Mount Barker and Porongurup.
New members are welcome.

Albany Pottery Group Inc.
The Albany Pottery Club membership is open to all. A long established club, it is supported by a vibrant group of potters of all ages. Excellent potting studio with kiln and equipment is available to members. Established members share knowledge. Club day is Thursday from 10am. Location: The Potters Studio behind the Vancouver Arts Centre, Vancouver St Albany.
