FIND LIVE MUSIC & GIGS IN ALBANY WA
The south coast is the cradle of music in WA.
Albany has long been known as a centre for music on the South Coast. This is the place where many a West Australian band has their roots, think Courtney Murphy and the Waifs. Pick any weekend and you will encounter a variety of gigs and live music, from Jazz & Blues to Rock and Soul. The pub music scene happens on weekend evenings and Sunday afternoons from around 4pm.
If you are and up and coming performer, Thursday is the night the White Star hotel (77 Stirling Terrace) stage their open mic night. Bring a musical instrument or your new band and get up on stage in front of a supportive audience.
