The Albany Farmers Markets open on Saturday mornings at 8.30am - 12 noon (Duke Street) and supply local Albany's weekend markets are a good place to start when you want to get to know our local producers. vegies, asparagus (in season), mussels, hot bread, dairy, honey, olive oil and lots more. The Boatshed Markets are open at 10am - 1pm on Sunday and are located on the foreshore to the west of the Albany Entertainment Centre. In front of the Boatshed markets is a little beach where locals gather to drink coffee and catch up with each other.
Bred co's sourdough bread is made with freshly milled wheat from local farms and wild fermentation utilising native yeast and traditional methods. Bred also supplies seasonal specialties such as kimchi, sauerkraut, turmeric kraut, beetroot kraut and apple cider vinegar. Each summer, tree ripened peach, apricot, plum & nectarine varieties. Take Ulster Rd, Lower King Rd, cross King River bridge, continue on Nanarup Rd, cross Kalgan River Bridge, turn left after the bridge to East Bank Rd, turn right at Moonlight Rd, follow signs to orchard.
