Kim Lofts is the initiator of the Albany Kanikapila Group, running it at the Cape Cafe in Torbay before Covid hit and previously for 4 years was the musical director for the Uke group at the Blue Duck Cafe, in Cottesloe. Kim has compiled and arranged a resource of well known, up-beat tunes featuring simple chord progressions that make playing easy.

The word Kanikapila is Hawaiian for sing-along and in these challenging times, we need as much joy and fun as we can find. Singing is a sure avenue to that. You don't have to be able to play Ukulele (or sing for that matter) just come along to listen and enjoy. Songs (words and chords) are projected onto a large screen. Also, songbooks (50 songs) are available for sale or to borrow for the day.

Please bring music  songbook & stand. Music songbooks available to purchase at venue.

This event is free (or donation welcome).

Come along and join in !
